was just tagging at jy's blog about how dead her blog is then realised my posts were also outdated. (somewhat) so i took out my brain and cleaned it, in order to make it stainless for my blog post.
this few days are completely NOT IN MEMORY. due to the fact that they are so boring and so everyday life like that my brain does not find the need to record such trivial everyday hci life. the only thing it does record is about how busy i felt when projects day start to get nearer and theres a maths test tmr. then here i am doing my chinese homework and writing this post as well. i suck at multi-tasking so its highly probably i will either finish this before the homework, finish the homework before this post (around 10% probability, a high percentage seeing how sian i was), did not finish either of the task or finish both after a longer time.
yesterday i was chionging wtf so much that i realised i only played one match of standard game. then here i am writing this post SECRETLY, seeing that my dad may not even allow me to post blogs without completing my homework beforehand. and of course he was talking about homework---->sleep (skipping "play") sequence for now. its highly likely that he would kill me if i told him i still had my projects day powerpoint to do and of course keith is not free tmr morning to do his part, so daniel and i had to tank his area. i really feel like sleeping after my chinese homework, cuz i dun feel like doing something on the com as it means no music for more than 2 hours. (since mom is sleeping, if its some paperwork it would be a different story, as the handphone comes in play)
so most of the time i was questioning myself the reason for my com playing time to be restricted to 5 hours IN THE WEEKEND, and realised it was due to the fact of my this terms msg, a pathetic 2.67. ( to make matter worse im onli like near the middle-top of the class, which gives my parents, my dad mainly, the reason to restrict my time, due to the "Good and Bad" paradox, which i will explain next.)
now moving on to the "Good and Bad" paradox, which i named it myself lolz. its a paradox (go check dictionary if u dun noe) in which the parent will compare or as some say "give example" of other ppl's results with their own child's results, and give a conclusion in which whether the (look back to see any movements from within the room) "example"s result is good or bad, would give the same end product. The following is an example:
Parent: Why u play so long, result very good is it?
Child: yes, i find my result acceptable.
P: who is the highest in ur class?
C: XXX. he got 1.5 and he played more often than me.
P: see? u only 2.0. XXX is so good, thats why he could play.
C: then wat about YYY. he onli got 2.5, but he still played more time than me!
P: he played so long until his results drop, thats y u cannot be like him, so u also must play less.
C: ...........................
so the main point is: when the child came up with a classmate whos result is better than his and played longer than him, the parent could say since XXX has such good result, thus he could play longer. then when the child came up with YYY who played longer but has worse results, the parent could say that thats y their child could not play so long, since YYY played so long until his result dropped. alternatively, the child could came up with XXX in the next term, and say how his grade dropped but he still played so long. however, the parent could easily rebutt with "because he played so long in term 1, thats y his result dropped in term 2". so no matter wat the child say, he will still be at the losing end. the only way is to compare with someone who has the same grade as the child, but the parent could come up with a few alternatives of reasoning as well: 1) compare ZZZ's other activities such as music lesson, third language, etc. 2) compare the exact marks ZZZ got with the child. for example, the child got 91/100 while ZZZ got 97/100. 3) use the "ulti" also known as "ZZZ's parent have different way of bringing up ZZZ. we are ur parents, (this is for ur own good) u listen to wat we say. usually this only comes up when the parent ran out of reasons and was either pushed into a corner by their own reasons or by their child's reasons, thus they only say it at the end. though there are cases in which they say it at the begining as the "initiating skill", so all in all,
PARENTS WIN
(our champion has fallen)
woho i could actually type so much for my post its really the first time. possibly cuz emotions invokes products. well well i will try to find some other things to write about parents next time
