fact or fantasy quiz - fun and laughter

to cut long events short, today was national fact or fantasy chem quiz @ NUS. the main thing is that me and each of my team member, daniel me and shen yang, screwed up at the round 3 six-mark questions. I ACTUALLY THOUGHT THAT ELECTROLYSIS OF SODIUM CHLORIDE GIVES U PURE SODIUM OMFGG. so that was my mistake, cuz the previous 2 questions daniel and shen yang screw up so got distracted. daniel screwed up something i forgot lol. then shen yang screwed up a random question in which i just deduced the answer (correctly) but shen yang said otherwise, so erps.
in the end only got 5th while the first 3 places were dominated by RIs. OMG ME THE CHEM GOD GOT PWNED BY CHEM GODS OF HIGHER PLANE. anyways the plus side is that my team was the only team from hci that got a prize, while the other two *** ***** ** ***** *** *** ***** ***** (sensored by me to prevent lesser chem mortals from falling into depressions muahahah) (P.S. RECIEVED MESSAGE FROM MRS SOW THAT THERE WAS ERROR IN CALCULATION SO IN THE END WE GOT 4TH INSTEAD. YAY LEVELED UP.)
but then the whole quiz still quite fun lah, cuz first can get to have the "competition feeling" and at the same time laugh at those lesser chem mortals who thought iodine is blue in colour (lololol)

btw shen yang was dam happy that we got both ace points and also managed to pwn joel teo (whom shen yang somehow dislikes a lot) in the quiz. (he was talking about us owning joel or joel overtaking us by how many points all the time. while daniel was repeating about "we must not make mistakes from now on and own everyone" when we were making mistakes a lot of times already)
then after the quiz was a bit random, the whole hci team went to the nearby canteen for lunch. dun feel like eating but then must not waste the $3.50 voucher. so ordered dessert instead and niaoed some ppl who queued a mortal long time at the western food stall. it was like "u not buying food meh?" "huh i finished already" "wtf?!" btw rui hao whom i just noe today was jumping very enthuly around and "snap snap" at us after the quiz, trying to borrow his photo and post on my blog. then finished my dessert and tackle my fruits afterwards, while in the mean time they r still queuing. omg its dam long a wait.
then we went to take bus 96 to clementi station and crapped about how pokemon anime was complete bs on the way and about how pro wobbuffet was. the whole thing was a bit random but still enjoyable standard. hahah just realised rui hao was just next door and i didn realise his existence, except during flag raising mayb.
and also this shows that IM STILL THE CHEM GOD OF SEC 3s. BOW DOWN TO THE CHEM GOD U LESSER CHEM MORTALS.

hello friends (regarding thamsys post)

read thamsy's extra emo post and was once again inspired to write something that "counters" his post. actually thats one of my way of making friends, to counter watever they say until somehow they just "watever" and takes more notice of u. as a matter of fact it works but it depends on the type of ppl im targetting. if is some ppl who feel that im REALLY hostile towards them, well too bad i had an enemy.
ok back to the main point. wat is a friend? i find the definition of "friend" very complicated to a certain degree. it cannot be a person who worships watever u do and abandon u when he lost interest. thats a fan (no pun intended). neither can it be a person who sticks with u all the time and helps u out no matter wat situation u and him is in. i find that a minion instead of a friend. friends quarrel, they have "days of daoing" where they just ignore each other, thats normal. but in the end they still makes up.
making friends is not THAT simple as wat many ppl think. its not like fishing in which u use the right bait and they will go for the hook. its more of a enzyme-substrate situation where it depends on both sides. there are ppl who are the induced fit type which makes friends with nearly any type of ppl. most of us make friends only with ppl we are comfortable with. for example, its very difficult for me to make friends with ppl who likes to act cool. keith is the only exception cuz i supposed he changed his own configuration to fit mine. as a matter of fact although he was my classmate for 3 years, inlcuding this year, i only started making friends with him this year.
making friends take time. u have to wait for the right moment to throw in the line. a pat on the back when they are depressed. a helping hand when they are in need. very minor things often result in great impacts. small jokes can create a relationship as well. looking back, the first friend i made in sec one is daniel, and it all started with us crapping about gassing ppl. (hohoho him vs me the chem god, who wins?) it ends with him giving me a nickname "Dr Poison" at the end of the sec one class orientation. then also for me i usually "affects and targets" ppl in an aoe around me, so usually the first person to become friendly with me is the one sitting next to me, but not all the time as stated before i just cant make friends with act-cool ppl.
my secret of making friends? make use of coincidences and small incidents to get close to him. that way he will just willingly go for the hook. for example how weibo and me make friends? it started off at the end of the second chem practical of term 1 when he helped me stack all the files together (haha thanks weibo). its actually very simple, none of us actually spoke, except for something like "i wait for u outside" and "thanks", but then we are still able to make friends. so thamsy, try making use of these everyday events to make friends with whoever u r talking about in ur blog. go for it!
btw u r my first i-spark friend in this whole year in hci. lolol feel honoured?

just viewed thamsy's personal blog and was very inspired. thus i decided to temporarily revive my dead blog. mayb a few days later i will once more let it drop down dead and rot. by in the mean time, i will spend my effort doing CPR to this pile of semi-breathing matter. nvm.
anyways, there's not school for me, and the rest of the 3s1 muggers, since we are having e-learning, which means massive online gaming and msn chats. the first issue that came up is that i woke up late, partly because i dun bother and partly because no one cares whether i wake up or not, until i saw the emb msg about taking ur attendence before 8am, that is. (which too bad for me i woke at around 9am, so i simply complained about this matter during the survey after e-learning, about how the school never say anything about how to take your attendence and stuff)
to be frank e-learning is a complete slack day, because the things that you need to do is not much, surprisingly. the only thing that troubles me is (of course not anything based on e-learning) my bio pbl which is due tmr. OMG I NEED TO CHIONG.
as compared to thamsy's blog which is so full of self-pity and questioning of the world and overcomplicated matters, i prefer to face the world straight on. hahah im an optimist.

literally screwed up my tests. cuz bio got a horible b4 and maths overall b3 AGAIN. but then at least my english compo is a A2. plus i never screw up ihc. so the overall msg is around 2++ which is very close to last terms msg. i think will have improvement lah, but very little...
today just had sports meet, which was literally a time to stone for 2 hours straight cuz not running anyways. the annoying thing is we have to stand up and do cheers so often and the worst thing is its the same cheer over and over again. spent most of the time walking around randomly and talk to daniel who looks so dam thin in his npcc uniform. he was "guarding" the route to the science labs and as i heard from thamsy that he already bypassed daniel's "impenetratable foretress" for the eighth time until at last when i was going there daniel was taking a brick and attempting to attack thamsy. although the whole thing just failed and ended up in me lecturing my cca member about how blissey can trash his whole team with toxic. at the same time was randomly talking to zhen wei about how i got trashed last saturday by a coco-slardar combo when i was playing enchantress and how zhen wei was saying i was a noob for not using bane elemental's ulti when jug came for him, which was actually another game. then the whole thing become a discussion of how to defeat coco-slardar combo and ended up with him telling me to master centaur warchief and we "pwn" them with our centaur-huskar combo, which i dun really think will work, apart from out-tanking them with my fat hp and zhen wei's fat regen. but then hope can work cuz zhen wei say he dam bu shuang wan to take revenge for jug pwning his pugna. (although he can nearly never win jug with pugna unless i use bane and support, but then just to make him happy let him crap on lol)
now deciding to chiong finish my chinese newspaper things first, so friday/saturday dun need do liao. sian tmr still got school but the plus side is got chem hahah.

just realised i havent updated for like 47587673648797097424270998885 days.cuz mainly mugging test and getting pwned in tests.

on wednesday when i saw the paper i would have laughed if its not a test. zz literally mugged for "nothing" cuz i straight took the general question about the society being too dependent on computers and daoed the rest, although the first question is completely copyable from the notes my english teacher gave, about whether a leader should be feared or loved. didn took that one cuz forgot who wrote the thing, actually messed up between de tocquaville and machiavalle (oops i dun even noe how to spell their names my english teacher is going to kill me).
then today (actually yesterday) i spent the whole day (apart from sleeping and talking to daniel on the phone) chionging all my homework, including the bio mindmap that literally made me want to tear my hair. but since i must preserve my own looks of gayness (lol) i must prevent myself from doing so. tmr or today must mug for tests liao next week whole week test week like around 5 tests.
