had our first experiment for our projects day. today is mainly get ready all the resources ready. at least i learnt how to use volumetric flask properly, while keith was like "i dun wanna die" when we dilute 98% sulfuric acid. chey, i dun really feel anything when i dilute the thing, except one drop dripped onto the newspapers below and there was an immediate black spot as all the moisture in the newspaper got absorbed by the acid until only carbon is left. cool...
basically today we prepared 2.0M sulfuric acid, 1.5M sodium hydroxide, iodine solution (actually is more of potassium-iodide-plus-iodine solution) and starch solution.
tmr (actually its today cuz its literally, 2am in the morning?) we will be carrying out the experiments about sulfur dioxide, more poisonous gases coming on the way...
