Pokemon of the day - Lanturn

So the Pokemon of the day shall be Lanturn. At least I decided to give you a pokemon other than a retarded cocoon which has higher s.attack than its attack. So here it is Lanturn, the glowing angler fish.

Now why lanturn you may ask. Because lanturn is a fish, which is also a electric type, effectively making it the only water/electric pokemon in the entire game barring its devolution form chinchou. This makes it somewhat the perfect counter for the regular water types due to the fact that electric is super effective to water. And its water/electric typing gives it resistance to water attacks, while its ability volt absorb gives it eletric immunity, thus it remains with only 2 weaknesses (grass and ground), and the ability to counter quite some water pokes with thunderbolt and negate electric pokes' electric attack while throwing STAB surf.

But then look at this stupid fish. IT IS SO FAT. Moreover its base HP of 125 makes it equally fat, maxing at 454 HP. This ranks lanturn as the pokemon with the 16th highest HP in the entire game. 14th when taking out giratina for being a uber. However, despite the overall fatness the electric fish appears to be, and the fact that it has such high HP, the weight of lanturn is actually very light (for its look), with only 50 lbs or 25 kg. That is so bloody light for a fat fish that ranked 16th in HP. And so the shining grass knot that supposedly counters all heavy water, rock or ground type pokemon has very little effect on the fat fish, with a pathetic base power of 40 and 60 with stab. So fat electric fish wont die from grass knot, so what?

What lanturn can do is to annoy people and make them tear at their hair. Apart from being a special tank which is not really worth mentioning because there are other water pokes that can do it better, lanturn can do the irritating set of parafusion. This basically means a combination of paralysis and confusion from thunderwave and confuse ray that makes your opponent yell "HIT LANTURN U DUMB TARD" at his pokemon 5 out of 8 times each turn, while lanturn will be surfing its way through, laughing at the opponent's bad luck and stupidity.
