Today went to a neighbouring town beside Obertraun, Bad Ischl, cus we decide to stop by certain towns during the train ride. So this is another town other than Hallstatt. From what I heard from one of the person working there, this town receives the most sunshine of all the places in Austria.
As usual for all the towns we visited, we would go and see the church(es).
A photo of inside the church.
The streets of Bad Ischl. Compared to Obertraun and Hallstatt it is much more modernised.
This is the first Chinese restaurant we came across during our trip, so everyone is like 'OMG CHINESE CUISINE *drools*. The waitress is very friendly and talked to us for a lot, probably cus she's Chinese also. Apparently there's only around 20 Chinese residents in Bad Ischl because it is very hard to apply for citizenship in Austria if you are a foreigner, so she would only get to see other Chinese foreigners once a week. Normal Chinese cuisine, which is very good seeing that we did not have any for the past days.
Most towns have a river of sorts, I suspect all the rivers are connected. Anyways here's a scenery shot.
The town has a few very nice and classy cake shop, selling cakes that both taste and look nice. I picked the fruity-jelly thing at the top left, though I feel the boring-looking cake at the bottom tastes the best.
