From one way of looking, going back to the lab is rather enriching, to my SPA skills, my soloing skills, my tanking skills, and my knowledge in my project. Very soon peeps who skipped lab session will find to their horror something awaiting them, with bated breath. I shall review by the end of the blog post.
On a side note, today I started my 'want to obtain more salt solutions' campaign and thus is doing something very illegal i suppose, at home. I won't tell you EXACTLY what it is, but I can give you a hint: coin contains around 75% copper and 25% nickel right...
Addition of concentrated hydrochloric acid is rather successful, the solution is starting to turn green, but I may have to take it out sooner or later because it might be possible that the copper will be oxidised by some unknown oxidising agent in my not so pure hydrochloric acid. (But hopefully heating to raise the concentration has decomposed the impurities)
Okay, going back to the death sentence. It seems that for SMTP, there is an 'oral defence' round at the end of the year, which consists of a percentage of your score for research. Basically the oral defence round consists of 3 teacher judges asking students about their project one by one. Sorry no tanker for you. So instead of choosing last year's topic, I am going to choose this year's topic for the oral defence. For those who continuously missed their lab sessions, I wonder how they are going to deal with the oral defence round.
