NUS Law

Ok I shall leave this post hanging for the time being because I need to go for my law test tmr. I have no idea why I applied for law with double degree in life sciences but here goes nothing.
.
Anyways I finished my law test already so I can talk about both the interview and the test.
The interview was HORRIBLE. I DIED TOTALLY ARGHOTCMH WQ,XIWCBIC. Because I had no idea of law whatsoever (and the interviewers know also), so I got questions that are quite screwed up. The main one was why I think embryonic stem cells are viewed with higher regards than foetus, in the sense that embryonic stem cells cannot be killed off 5 - 8 days into its development, while abortion can take place within the first 3 months in Singapore. Then I just died and x.x and wtf is this. Then I crapped something about cus the mother needs time to assess her situation and decide whether to abort or not while embryonic stem cells are completely under the control of scientists.
Afterwards I would think a better answer is cus there is a lower risk of social problems when comparing abortion and embryonic stem cells, because nothing would happen to the foetus within that 3 months but scientists can do a lot of things to the developing cells in the 5 to 8 days. But still very confused cus the interviewer asked me why can't Singapore just abolish abortion altogether but I know there are circumstances that need to be considered. Ah well didn't do well for interview I think in the end they got tired of my bullshit and asked me about my uni applications..
On the other hand, the law test was very fun. Basically I was given 3 pages of information and a scenario to assess. The question was quite fun, cus you just need to read and pick out useful information to construct your argument as to whether the person broke the law, and if she did what recommendations you have. I suppose I can't just blatantly talk about what was asked here so if you're interested I can tell you in private.
Oh and my troll recommendation is called Schrödinger's cat.
