Childhood part 2

I remember it was primary school when maplestory hit children in Singapore, and everyone's totally engrossed with playing that game. I was very anti-maplestory at that time, partly cus my internet access comes once a week and partly cus I was afraid I would be addicted.
Yes, in primary school my internet access only came once a week, because there's no wireless network at home. I have to go to NUS with my dad and use the wireless network there (he studied there). And that was usually the most looked forward day of the week, because he would just go to the school library and I would use his laptop to neopets for hours. Yes, neopets.
And then I started mapling in secondary school and gave up half-way, because at that time it was terribly slow to train. I remember the painful moments where I have to struggle for hours only to fill up the exp bar by 10% -.- Well what attracted me wasn't really the whole mmorpg idea. I recalled writing in a previous blog post about why I liked maple, and those were: the graphics, the background music, and the idea of pink bean pwning everyone in existence (too bad with all the buffs now pink bean became defeatable, it used to be hilarious watching youtube videos of pink bean fights and you just see raining tombstones).
