thats exactly wat happened for projects day prelim today. before the presentation we (meaning me, keith and daniel) were spamming through our ppt to check for any form of mistakes, including grammar error, spelling error, animations, subscripts (since we are doing on sulfur dioxide) and other blahs and blahs and blahs. then keith was like, u do this this i do this this daniel do this this when the judge ask this this you answer this this and daniel will tank all the questions that is related to this this...(ironically I AM THE GROUP LEADER)
so the moment we started the presentation, i realised to my horror that somehow some part of the subscripts convert themselves back to normal font when transferred from 1 com to another. dam u murphey's law. and also i forgot 50% of the elaborations about the projects and somehow was tanking out all the time for the rest of the ppt, so somehow we ran out of time, though i didn noe how i manage to tank at all, seeing i dun even elaborate as much. (daniel and keith said i suck at presenting afterwards, lol all my random skills of presentation in sec 1 and 2 are gone)
anyways, the judges were so (erhem) impressed by our presentation that the questions they ask is like dam random. (there were 3 judges: 1 bio, 1 chem, 1 physics) then the bio judge (who coincidentally is my bio teacher) was spam asking us about our variables, which is dam random seeing that the whole project is not only on the variable. then of course the physics judge (Mr Yap) didn ask any questions cuz the project is chem and he is a physics teacher erhem. the chem judge whom i dun noe asked like wat form the sulfur dioxide in dried fruit is present in, then i replied it is absorbed by the dried fruit and thus we can extract it by squeezing the juice out of the DRIED fruits, ironic isnt it. but actually is true since u hav to put it in water for sometime to start squeezing oh well.
so all in all we didn screw up for the prelim so still alright. then keith made an inference based on how i tanked every question except for one from the judge (which was tanked by keith cuz i never rmbr wat is the dependent, independent and constant variables) that i am a pro tanker at q & a so must make me present less and tank more for q & a. then of course there were other lame + random comments like keith is a f@gg0t and daniel is irreplaceable (its based on a song for f!!ks sake (pronounced as sa-ke lol so random))
