After the presentation for semi-finals today, I am quite confident that I will make it to the finals. The presentation itself was a breeze, and the questions asked were quite easy, so I answered almost all of them. Except one about whether the eggshell protein will degrade under acidic pH, which I didn't really answer exactly. Lol, but all in all I think it's still ok.
Anyways thanks to my group leaders for making the presentation smooth and interesting. It is known that the level of interest of the presentation goes downward with the presentation sequence of Keith, Daniel and then me... bleh how interesting can explaining the chemistry behind the experiment?
Yesterday had a quite meaningful chat with thamsy on ebuddy. Somehow makes me feel more positive with myself. Thanks thamsy for your compliments. I shall strive to change haha.
So after semi-finals we still have quite a way to go, so must not give up now. Besides, maths test next wednesday, and chinese compo tomorrow. At least I can have some time to catch my breath after the presentation today.
p.s. feel super bad about himself for failing 3 project groups out of the 10 that he judged.
